National Archaeological Anthropological Memory Management (NAAM)
NAAM is a nonprofit cultural heritage institution in Curaçao dedicated to the preservation, management, and promotion of the Dutch Caribbean’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
NAAM was founded in 1998 by the National Government of the former Netherlands Antilles as a successor to AAINA (Archaeologisch-Anthropologisch Instituut Nederlandse Antillen).
In addition to operating a museum and heritage repository, NAAM plays a leading role in developing heritage policy, fostering national and international partnerships, advancing research and knowledge exchange, and promoting public awareness, understanding, and engagement with the cultural heritage of the Dutch Caribbean.
